FACE OF THE EARTH

An exhibition to coincide with International Year of Planet Earth. Works in a wide variety of media from our own and other public and private collections, representing a broad spectrum of styles and traditions.

 

July 1st -Aug 31st (plus indoor display 12th - 31st August)

GREEN WOMEN
An exhibition by the
Brunel Broderers, a well-known group of textile artists responding to Nature in Art, its garden and setting and to ideas related to the re-use of materials. An inspiring selection of exhibits, diverse in scale and process.

LIZZIE HARPER     

Come and meet a professional illustrator and see them at work. Lizzie has been artist in residence before and returns by popular demand

JILL MOGER SWLA    

Jill is renowned for her ceramic sculptures particularly of reptiles. Her work is held in many private and public collections,including Nature in Art   

July 17th - 19th

RICHARD SMITH    

Richard is a regular artist in residence. A very versatile painter, he is perhaps best known for his paintings of fish in their habitat

July 19th -20th

ANTHONY GIBBS    

Anthony Gibbs is one of the UK’s most highly regarded wildlife artists who manages to combine fantastic detail with life and atmosphere. A rare opportunity.

July 22nd -27th  

JOYCE PINCH     

Joyce is coming in residence for the first time. A multi-media artist based in the county she is a very experienced teacher.    

July 26th -27th  

RICHARD TRATT    

Richard is renowned for his habitat and butterfly paintings and his landscapes. He has work in the Nature in art collection. You are most likely to find him painting outdoors.

July 29th -Aug 3rd

ANN SWAN     

A multi award winning botanical artist returning by popular demand. Ann’s work is held in public and private collections worldwide.
